It is no doubt that the English Greyhound Dog breed is one of the most beautiful to look at. This dog breed is very elegant and has its own unique beauty to the extent that it’s considered as part of royalty historically until today.

Types of Colors

The English Greyhound Dog breed comes in three types of colors. These include blue merle, black and tan, and solid color. The blue merle version of the dog is a very rare breed with only a few numbers in existence worldwide.

 They often have a dark blue or gray coat that is mottle with light spots on it which makes them look very beautiful. If you love variety in your dog breeds , then the blu merle type of the English Greyhound Dog is a good choice for you. The black and tan version of the breed comes with a deep dark brown coat which is slightly lighter at the bottom.

The third version of this dog, commonly known as solids , come in only one color as the name suggests as though there were no two dogs with the same color. The coat comes in different shades of brown, red, deep gold and light gray just to name a few.

The English Greyhound Dog has an average height of 20 to 26 inches which is quite big if you are looking for a smaller dog breed.
