1-WHITE MALTIPOO

The most known color of Maltipoo is white. Maltipoo comes as a result of a pure white coat. Some Maltipoo has white patches on their chest and white tips on their paws. They have known for their fun-loving and affectionate disposition. This is the most renowned type of maltipoo.

2-CREAM MALTIPOO

This is slightly different from white, which can also be known as white Maltipoo, as there is no such difference. Some breeders don’t use pure white color. It falls between almost grey or light tan color. It has the most diverse traits: a brown nose, lighter eye color, and lighter toenails. They have pinkish skin underneath their coat. This color has the most diverse physical characteristics.

3-Apricot Maltipoo

This color comes between light orange and peach color. This is a cozy, slant color. It often has a sloppy waxy coat that is low-shedding and nontoxic. This is the most wanted characteristic because it looks like a tiny teddy. The AKC recognizes it as an official color. They contain black characteristics throughout their body: nose, eye, and toenail color. It was the last official color accepted by AKC in 1938

5- Red Maltipoo

This color combines deep mahogany red with a lighter, more orange–toned red. This color is influenced by dog genetics and lighting condition. The white markings on their chest, feet, or faces make them adorable, but the color of the Maltipoo can change with time. This is the most wanted coat color, like apricot, because they resemble small teddy bears, which are also rare. Most importantly, a breeder would get this color by breeding tan color maltipoo with a red or darker-colored poodle.

5- Parti Color:

Parti-color maltipoo combines two or more colors, with white being one of the primary colors. This color contains a minimum of 50% white. The secondary color can be any, but mostly black, apricot, tan, and cream. Recessive genes make the two colors. Sometimes in a parti Maltipoo, the body will be solid white color and the chest and head will be another color.

6- Grey:

Grey Maltipoo has a beautiful silver-grey coat that is rare. Parti black Maltipoo can also turn gray at 4-5 years old. They are usually born with dark black color but lighten by age two. It turns silver as time passes. After 6 weeks, it can be known whether it is silver or grey.

7- Black:

This color could be more standard. This Maltipoo comes in pure black, or some have a black marking on a white or cream coat. A true black maltipoo is rare for black Maltipoo. Both the Maltipoo and Maltese have to carry the black recessive black gene.
